Academic Success Coaching

Academic Success Coaching uses a metacognitive approach for learning to build and refine skills for continued success in college. We assist students with identifying their learning and study styles and then tailor individual success strategies to match. We can help navigate college systems, provide referrals to other offices, assist with using various college software, and offer sessions focusing on time management and organization, note-taking, reading strategies, and test preparation.

 Why should I use Academic Success Coaching?

We focus on your strengths and priorities to help you reach your goals with insider college knowledge. We work with you to develop an individualized plan to build your academic skills to serve you at 博天堂官方 and beyond.

How can I sign up for coaching?

Appointments are available both in-person and virtually and can be scheduled through Watermark. Drop-in appointments are dependent on availability.

How to book an appointment
  1. Log in to My LB. Open Watermark.
  2. Go to the "Meetings" tab.
  3. Choose "Academic Success Coaching" for the location.
  4. "Know who you want to meet with?" - select the name of the coach if you have a preference, or leave blank.
  5. Under "What would you like to discuss?" select "Academic Success Coaching"
  6. In the "What's on your mind" box, provide some information about what you'd like to work on. Select "Next".
  7. Choose the "40-50 minutes" appointment time.
  8. After you click "Save," you will receive a Google calendar invitation. The academic coach you’re meeting with will also send you an email with more information about your appointment. Please make sure to check your 博天堂官方 student email! 

We offer appointments in 40 minute blocks. Students typically spend between 30 and 40 minutes with their coach. Appointments are available throughout the week; if you can't find an appointment time that fits your schedule, please contact us.

Our Winter Hours:

  •  Academic Success Coaching will be available the following hours on the Albany Campus:
    • Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
    • Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
